  • Shaun Piercey

    Shaun PierceyHead Professional

    Shaun Piercey is a Graduate of Grant MacEwan University where he earned his degree in Professional Golf Management.  Shaun became of PGA of Canada Golf Professional in 2001.  He is currently the Head Golf Professional of the Ranch Golf and Country Club where he has spent the past 16 seasons.

    Shaun started golf at the age of 11 and has had a great passion for the game ever since.  He was proud to be recognized by the PGA of Canada in 2012 with the Pat Fletcher Award for Public Merchandiser of the Year in recognition of excellence in golf shop operations.  Shaun plays actively on the PGA of Alberta Professional Circuit, where he has one victory, multiple top 10 finishes, and has qualified for the Tour Championship 3 of the last 4 seasons.

    Scott is a Class A Professional with 24 years’ experience and is skilled at helping golfers of all levels to improve their performance. His success is directly attributed to his professional and interpersonal skills and his ability to put his students at ease and making the learning experience fun and enjoyable.

  • Murray McCourt

    Murray McCourtExecutive Golf Professional

    Murray is a graduate of the San Diego Golf Academy where he earned a degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management. While in San Diego Murray learned how to teach and was taught by many highly regarded golf instructors of PGA and LPGA Tour Players. Murray also played in several events on the Golden State Tour while earning his degree.

    Murray did his apprenticeship with the PGA of Canada at the Wolf Creek Golf Resort before becoming the Head Professional of the Nanton Golf Club at 23 years of age. He stayed in Nanton as the Pro/Manager for 12 years before he moved to Edmonton to become the Executive Professional at The Ranch Golf and Country Club. He is now in his 11th year at The Ranch and he now has an ownership stake in the golf course as well.
